PRP Training Course – FAQ
1. What is PRP therapy?
Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy is a regenerative treatment that uses a patient’s own blood platelets to stimulate healing, collagen production, and tissue repair. It’s widely applied in aesthetics, dermatology, and sports medicine.
2. Who is this course for?
This training is designed for medical professionals such as doctors, dentists, nurses, and other qualified practitioners looking to expand their knowledge and skillset in regenerative and aesthetic medicine.
3. Can I take the course if I’m not a medic?
Yes. Beauty therapists and aestheticians with relevant qualifications — such as Level 3 Beauty Therapy or Anatomy & Physiology — are eligible. Some may also need prior injectable or microneedling experience. Non-medics will be required to complete phlebotomy training, which we also offer at HeLa.
4. What can I do if I have no experience and I am not a medic?
You can take our PRP Non-Invasive Course. This is a great alternative for clients who do not want invasive treatments. We also offer the Hair Growth & Loss Prevention Course, which is CPD-accredited, providing an accessible entry point into hair restoration treatments.
5. Do I need prior experience?
A background in healthcare is required for medics. For non-medics, relevant beauty qualifications and experience in aesthetic procedures (injectables or microneedling) are recommended, alongside phlebotomy training.

Yes. Upon successful completion, participants will receive a CPD-accredited certificate of training, recognizing their skills in PRP therapy.
